One way mirror films

Hi guys,

I'm looking to install one way mirror window films in my living room. Its a small apartment and I should only need about 3m x 2m of material. I've been doing some research online and the material cost shouldn't be more than HKD 200-300 (not any classy brands etc, 100% privacy screen) and the labour cost is the most expensive/variable factor.

I've been quoted HKD 2500 for the work by someone who normally does it for cars, just wondering if this is reasonable and also if anyone has some contacts they wouldn't mind recommending?

Thanks in advance.

George

Thanks SCORPIO01.

Would you say it was quite hard? or is it just like applying a giant piece of phone screen protector. I'm just worried that applying it won't be that hard, but to apply it nicely with no air bubbles might be a bit tricky.

Air bubbles would make the whole thing a bit tacky, hence trying to get a professional to do it (without costing too much).

not at all hard

Fill up a spray bottle with water, apply water generously on the glue side of the film and then slowly apply the film,

Roll up some tissue on an old credit card and use that for wiping and removing air bubbles.

Film isn't that expensive, dont remove all the protective paper from the film, just remove a little, apply it and align the top edges and move downwards, its easy,
