Apparently there is a shop in 'Lowu' that sells great bags. Quite a few people have told me about this lady's shop. I believe the owner is called Betty. Does anybody know what number this shop is or can you reccommend another shop with good quality?

LOL.. "Fixed Price" or "No bargain" Concept doesn't exist there. Everything is negotiable ;)
rule of thumb--- in China, especially that mall, what ever is the asking price, your offer should start from the 1/3 of what they are asking. Bargain & gradually go up.. max to 50% what they initially asked for.
end of the day you have to be smart enough to judge the best price of the item you wanna buy.

In my experience she doesn't bargain much but she does start at a much more reasonable figure. At the end of the day all that matters is that you get a price that you are happy with. Sometimes it gets to the stage that the effort required to get another $20 off the price is not worth it. Have fun!

Dont buy much in HK if you plan to head over here,best prices everything “fake” you could ever want and tons of other thingse here… Hands down the best day trip from shenzhen.We visited LoWu yesterday and had a great time. We arrived by train from Hong Kong. Very easy 40min trip from our Kowloon hotel. LoWu shopping centre was difficult to find because we did not know what to look for. Followed the crowd and just fell into the shops. Touters were only a minor nuisance, mainly at entrance. Fabulous choice of shops. We had been told by friends to visit kyle’s shop for handbag watch, Shop 4283 on 4 floor near lift. Lovely quietly spoken man, Very refreshing from other sellers. Excellent prices 1st time. No need to bargain hard here.
