following up with "green"'s comments - we now find it best to do the online shop for the bulky stuff and wait for it to be delivered before doing our trip to the supermarket for the fresh stuff. This way the items that weren't delivered can be picked up on your "fresh" shop - as despite being out of stock for delivery, the items are nearly always still available on the supermarket shelves.

For larger items, you can also compare and see which has better sale prices.
We do bulky items (washing powder, toilet paper, washing up liquid, tins, sparkling water, etc...) online, and like above we do the fresh items in wet market or the shop itself.

Wellcome offer the same service as described here but they are smelly sweaty men doing the delivery - maybe we need to swap to PnS. HaHa. They too are always in a hurry so no chance to check the delivery let along offer a drink. Very grateful for their service. I don't find the PnS or Wellcome offer alot of variety in their online selection but it is great for bottled water, soft drinks and cleaning supplies. I regularly place orders fro around $700 worth of stuff but most often only $2-300 worth gets delivered because so much is out of stock every time but so long as your original order is over the $400 there is no delivery charge.
