Hi
we ve just moved in Sai Kung, we have to buy some furnitures like barbecue, outdoor table, chairs... We ve been to B&Q HK little bit disappointing and quite expensive, someone recommends us to go to B&Q Shenzhen , I struggle to find info on the shops there (like a map with the chinese adress, for taxi from the KCR...) and I think there are three shops there, I don't know which one is the most convenient for HK. Any idea, comments, tips... please share, we plan to go this saturday afternoon. THANKS!!!!

For what it's worth, two people I know each ordered a balcony sized weber BBQ from BBQ's galour's website in Australia and had it shipped overnight to HK and it was still much cheaper (about half the price) than the same item locally purchased. Of course, that would not be the case with furniture.

I heard B & Q in Shenzhen wont ship to HK, just cash and carry. You had better check that out. Get the little Shop In Shenzhen book and it has the name written in Chinese so you can just show the taxi driver.

If you want a bbq, check out expatspaytoomuch.com good bbq's at cheap prices!! They can deliver the next day and are based in HK.
