Because of the odd dimensions of our room, we can't seem to find a pre-made cabinet or chest of drawers that will work while maximizing the space we have.
I think the best bet will be to have some made. They don't need to be fancy or of the best quality, just some where to hang and fold our clothes away.
Does anyone have a company or contractor to recommend to me?
Thanks

Really? No one has a tip for me?
Not even one company that I can give our funny measurements to and have closets made?
Would love some help!

Hi sunnyrash,
Don't be so upset. People either away or are too pre-occupied with CNY, that's why no one gave you any reply.
We got our furniture from G.O.D. in Causeway Bay. We chose what we wanted regarding colours and styles etc. and they managed to make them according to our measurements. Otherwise, you can simply go to Ikea and they should be able to do the same.
The other option is for you to go to Java Road in North Point. There are many furniture shops. You can get them to custom make any wardrobes and cabinets of funny measurements there. But you need your Cantonese in order to communciate with them (or you bring along sho can speak Cantonese with you) and they may close for 2 weeks over CNY.

As activehealth says Java Road has lots of bespoke furniture shops. Cantonese does help but there are English speakers in some of the shops. Also a drawing would help I guess.

Thanks for the reply's.
I wasn't upset, just really surprised at the initial lack of help. I knew there were others out there with my problem:)
Thanks again!

Hi sunnysarah
I have just had a bed/drawer combination made up at Takad Furniture for a helper we are putting on to maximise the space in the her room. If you don't want anything really fancy and are happy with pine, then they seem quite reasonable and they will draw it up for you. I went to the Wan Chai store as the woman Rachel (i think her name is) speaks very good english and was really helpful. PM me if you want more details. good luck!
