Hi Holger,
I checked the website for Tupperware and they had a contact number for China. They said it included Hong Kong. Here is the number: 86-20-8363 4378. It also had a link to the website www.tupperware.com.cn The website is in Chinese so I am guessing you will need to speak the local lingo if you ring the above number however I could be wrong so don't quote me on that!
I was also wondering the same question the other day, let me know if you hear of anything that looks promising!
Cheers Bel.

Hi Holger
I have seen Tupperware (albiet limited stock) in a store out at Shatin. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the store, but when I was coming back from the Heritage Museum one day i headed for the KCR which took me through the first of the shoping centres in Shatin. Of course I had a look around and was pleased to see Tupperware. There are three shopping centres all linked together when you get off the train at Shatin, and you need to go to right to the last shopping centre as if you are heading for the Museum. I'm sorry I am being so vague but it was so long ago that I went. I do have every intention of going again in the next couple of weeks, so when I do I will let you know exactly, but at least it's a start. Good luck

does it have to be Tupperware? all that plastic stuff - there is plenty of different brands around - for example Japan Home store has quite a lot? As well as most supermarkets?

Hi,
thanks, yes Tupperware is the best quality you can get... All the other plastics are after 6t month usage ruined, especially from the dishwasher... plus Tupperware got Lifetime warantee..... Thanks for the tip in Shatin I believe the mall is New Town Plaza.....

Hi neenib,
Pls update us if it's still here and where exactly.
If you are a tupperware user, you know the difference compared to japan homes and other brands. 2 years ago, i brought all the tupperware i had with scratches, looks olds, etc...and they replaced it without a question. That's what we call lifetime warranty.

Hi sammy s
I'm interested in getting a catalogue, could you please pm me with details also. Thanks!
honeypie, sorry I haven't been to Shatin in ages, so unfortunately I can't tell you exactly where and if they have any currently. I do believe though it is in Town Plaza III and it's in a Department Store, but I just can't think of the name, sorry. I don't plan on going any time soon either as I'm about to have another baby, so feeling way too tired.

The department store used to be called Seibu I think, but now goes under another name - it has been rebranded and is actually a kind department store made up of different concessions.

Seibu is a Japanese department store. There is a branch in Pacific Place. Perhaps you mean Sogo?

Sogo is also a Japanese department store, and neither Sogo nor Seibu have changed their names in Hong Kong and both continue to do well. Daimaru in Causeway Bay on Great George Street dropped the name I think as part of their downsizing but kept the format of different concessions, so many of the vendors are still there. Mitsukoshi in Hennesy center also in Causeway also shut down as part of their retrenchment, its been a while since I have been so I do not know what happened to all the shops in there. So if you are sure the name has changed but the format has stayed I would bet it was probably either one of those two.

The store used to be called Seiyu. I remember going there years ago in the early 90's.
The New Town Plaza website doesn't have a shop with that name now, but it does have a Japanese department store called Yata - could it be the same place?

Yes, it is Yata - I get Seiyu and Siebu mixed up - sorry

I found it a couple of weeks ago. It is in Yata on the third floor. Down the ToysRUs end (which is on the first floor) you will see a shop selling loads of pots and pans etc. Right down the back in the corner they have a range of Tupperware, they also have catalogues tucked away on the shelf.
Cheers
