SHIPPING BOXES TO UK

ORIGINAL POST

I am looking to ship some items to the UK. I don't want to send much, just to use a service a bit like the Phillipine door to door. It can go by sea as there is no rush for it. Does anyone know how to do this? Any help, numbers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The post office seems like a simple solution unless it's really heavy and bulky stuff. Their biggest boxes are pretty large. And you can send by sea.

I used www.thebaggagecompany.com

The post office is good too.

I had read on a previous thread that the post office doesn't handle heavy bulky boxes although I hadn't checked that out myself. Thank you for the baggage co info I will check that out.

The maximum weight the PO will take is 30 kgs. They have 10, 20 and 30 kg boxes. I looked at the thebaggagecompany and determined that DHL would be a little cheaper than this company. PO is good - this would be my choice as the post office is a lot closer than a DHL office.
