We all know that nearly all restaurants in HK charge a 10% service charge. Most of you will be aware that this goes straight into the restaurant owners pockets and not to the staff as 'we' think it should. Please include here a list of restaurants you know are Service Charge FREE or those you know that do pass on the 10% to their staff...

Of course Yoshinoya has no service charge. That is because it is a fast food restaurant - the hundreds of McDonald's outlets all over Hong Kong don't have a service charge either.

you can try for 5o dol hk very good set lunch in mid level in melting pot number1-5 on englin st,up new 7/11 on 68 hollywood road,and you can back for nice and pleasant evening w/ super local jazz band
