anyone know when this above event is on - and if they have a website - also any other open water swims going on?

There used to be the cross harbour race that went from Star Ferry Kowloon to Queens Pier but that stopped in the late 1970's due to pollution. there was a short course across Lai Chi Kok Bay but that is now a big park. I haven't heard of a cross Tolo race but there was something a few years ago when there was a race along the main dam of Plover Cove seaward side 2.4 km or something like that. may have been connected to a triathlon or something

My Other Half has previously participated in this event. It is organised by the Tai Po Sports Association, Tel 2664 8661. Have just phoned them, and the application period is already over for this year.
