Hi,
Under my company scheme, the company does not pay for the rent, but I can get tax deduction. If I move into a sublease which the landlord knows about but I do not sign a contract under, will I still be able to get a tax deduction for it?
Thanks a lot for your help!

If your company provides a “housing allowance or housing reimbursement”, you will have a tax “benefit” (not a deduction) in that such payment by your employer on account of accommodation will, in effect, not be treated as fully taxable like other income. So long as your employment contract is properly worded you will be entitled to this relief even if you are a sub-tenant.
