Where can my kids go for roller blading in Clearwater Bay/Saikung?

Would there be a skate park or a roller ring nearby?

Thanks for your help

There's a small rollerskating area in the park opposite the swimming pool in sai Kung. For skateboarding, most of the teens go to the skate park in Mei Foo.

Hi

My kids signed up to the roller-skating six week course run by the leisure & cultural services, suggested above which runs at 9.30am on a Saturday morning at the Sai Kung roller skating rink - there are all ages from about 5 to 12 and it is a relaxed class. My kids were worried that the lesson would only be in Cantonese, but the instructor speaks both Cantonese & English and is really helpful. They provide the skates and protective gear (the skates are fine but the gloves are a bit worn out so you might want to buy your own). You have to go to the government activities office next door to the football pitch/playground to book - that takes a bit of effort in terms of being understood, but eventually you can book - they take cash only. It has been really fun, and they have even allowed my husband to sign up too!
