What is a certificate of incumbency?

I thought you can open a bank account at any bank in Hong Kong using your foreign passport.

diego - most banks will require a cert of incumbency. Have you tried HSBC? i think they might, but will require all opening resolutions, company registers and possibly a cert of good standing.

Usually C of I, Board Meeting Resolutions and Certificate of Incumbency/Good Standing. From my experiences, SME Section of HSBC, DBS Bank and Chong Hing Banks are good buys. More than ONE banks is recommended please.
