Magazine Gap road is very convenient for buses and taxis, Old peak road, along with Tregunter.

It does get pretty foggy and dampness is not too bad, there is a bit of wind.

We lived at The Harbourview on Magazine Gap on our first assignment in Hong Kong. Most of the time we were just below the fogline. Damp was not as bad some places but at the time it was a newer building. We had a car but it seems buses are frequent and it's pretty easy to hail a taxi. Sometimes Magazine Gap road jams up a bit mostly only for roadworks. There is a welcome at the top of the road and a park and shop at the bottom. We now live on Stubbs Road which is much the same kettle of fish.

We live on upper Mag Gap Rd and love it - lots of trees just outside our windows, very low density of buildings. Never had a problem with fog - the fog line starts above number 26. Mag Gap, Coombe, Barker, Guildford are mostly below fog line. We do run dehumidifiers regularly in wet season but then so do our friends on Kennedy Road which is much lower. No problems with dampness really.

For that matter, we run dehumidifiers in both summer and winter in Repulse Bay, and we're almost at sea level. The humidity is pretty high down here as well. The difference is that we don't get fog very often.

Coombe, Barker, lower Mag Gap, part of Peak Road etc are all below the fog line ie they do not get fogged at all some years and some years we've had max a few days (not months) of fog.
