Does anyone know of a place where I can learn how to cook dim sum in English.

I highly recommend Martha Sherpa (just google her), I took a dim sum class there once and it was fantastic. She teaches in English. The location is not the most sophisticated (an older building in MongKok) but the food is really authentic and delicious. I agree with beancurd that youtube is great for many things but dim sum is one of those things that are better learnt in person. Martha taught me this:

Scrumptious HK arranges customized private cooking classes at your home with a dimsum chef. My friends and I just had one for a leaving do, and we all had a fantastic time. The instruction was in English and we made three different dumpling items. scrumptioushk@gmail.com
