Need advice on a cheap but good moving company for our move within HK. We have lots of big size furniture, a huge fish tank and fragile items but cannot go for the high class Crowne, Allied, Santafe etc. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks!

I moved a fish tank 2 years ago with SantaFee they are great but a little pricy.
Don't try to look at price first bcos some will force you to give high tips.

I used a local moving company for my last move. It wasn't full service like Santa Fe. I had to do my own packing and unpacking but they provided the boxes. They did a fine job moving my big items. Nothing was damaged. Cost me $3000 and paid $100 tips per mover and there were 6 of them. The key issue with the local movers is language. They don't speak much English. If you're interested. I am preparing for local move and quoted Santa Fe..... I would say it's at least 3 to 4 times more expensive than local movers.... Of course, they pack everything and supposedly restores everything as well... but still....

Eventuallyu we moved with Chunkie International Removal Ltd. Although they came a few hours late on the first moving day, they were then so quick that they managed to be done with everything the next day noon, as we had agreed. They were a third of the price of Santafe and other international full service companies and very good. The supervisor spoke English, so that's all you need.
