Donating A/C Units to charity

I've just moved out of an apartment that came with zero appliances, no AC/cooker fridge or anything.

I don't want to sound mean or anything, but my landlords have been so greedy and unhelpful, I don't want to leave anything behind that they can benefit from.

We had to buy all our AC units (5 in total, a large investment) and I'd like to donate them to charity (or anyone who will want them). Only I can't remove the unit and replace it with glass myself, and then transport it.

I've contacted St James Settlements, to whom I've donated small electronics and appliances before, but they do not collect items.

Can anyone advise me on whom to turn to?

Perhaps touch base with these guys - maybe they will buy them off you?

I've used them before to sort out a leaking a/c issue, v. professional. Never thought they'd buy second hand units! Good idea, I'll try, thanks!
