Where To Propose?

I have been in HK for not too long and would like to find a romantic / special restaurant to propose to my girl friend. I am currently thinking of some hotel restaurants. If you have any experience or suggestions, I would really love to hear from you. Many thanks.

I love the part in movies where the guy proposes... always makes me cry heehee ... out of curiosity, how do you plan to ask??? =)

Does it have to be a restaurant? HK has some great locations you could choose other than restuarant or get more creative. A mate of mine chose a packed sports stadium to flash up his proposal on a giant screen, fortunately she said yes!!.

The restaurant in the Penninsula Hotel has an amazing view. You could (i know this sounds a bit corny) have the ring put in a dessert or something.

A friend of mine took his girlfriend on a junk trip. He had a strawberry cake made for the ocassion, with "Will you marry me?" written on it.

Of course, she said yes.

My husband proposed in our fav bar in LKF after we had had a lovely meal in a nearby restaurant. We went for 'one for the road' and he then poped the Q. it was really nice as we were both relaxed and in a secluded little booth. finished the drink and headed home to celebrate!

How's about ponyin' up 2 gold notes+ and taking a helicopter ride through HK and tell the pilot to pass a certain roof top where you have candles placed to spell out "Will you marry me?" on it. When you land there is some butler carrying a silver platter and a cushion (for you to kneel on) and propose.

I know that sounds stupid but that's what I'm going to do...
