Scuba diving??

Does anybody know of anyplace I can take 6-7 kids aged 12-13 years old for a couple of hours on a Sunday to have fun scuba diving. I know there are other places where you can rent scuba diving suits and equipment, they give you basic quick training and let you enjoy yourself (obviously under guard) for a couple of hours in scuba gear. Is there anywhere here that does those type of things. I looked into these diving schools, but they all take way too long and are way too expensive.

Mostly open water dives. But I do suppose it would take a bit of basic training before the kids can actually go into the water. Got any ideas??

1. Dont take more than 2 kids at the time.

2. start with snorkeling.


If you later want the kids to get certified, which is an excellent idea, go for the real license, any sort of bubblemaker is a waste of money.


I recommend Lobster Bay, at the end of clear water bay road. It is very easy to access, and has some of the best scuba/snorkeling in HK.

Conditions at the moment are excellent. The water is warm and visibility is excellent. I went today.


I recommend to contact Raymond from Clear Water Bay Diving. Always a smart idea to ask him. http://www.cwbdiving.com/

He lives close-by and knows the waters like no other. Also, I find him to be more reasonable than more $$$ places.

Simply not true, there are the (pool-based) Bubblemaker and Seal Team Courses (Ages: 8 and above). Especially the former is a great introduction for kids.
