brazilian waxing @ paul gerrard

hi, this is my first time posting here...


I've been looking for a place in HK where does BW for a long time, since there are so many posts asking the same question here (I did my research here too) I decide to share my experience with ppl. who are interested.


I did my Brazilian waxing for the first time today at Paul Gerrard.


this was my first time doing waxing outside, as well as doing BW, so I was a bit nervous at the beginning... It turned out better than I thought, of course some spots hurt more than the others... (maybe cos' this is my first time & the hair is long...?)


Place looks & feels pretty comfortable, I'm not sure if it's clean enough or not though cos' it's a bit dim...


The girl who did the waxing, Claudia, was very nice... (or who else is recommanded? plz tell me so I'd try at my next appointment)


$220 is fair enough I think... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to leave tips?


btw, the receptionist messed up my appointment at the first time, so make sure she actually jot down your appointment by calling back for confirmation. =)

she put hot wax on then pressed a strip on to remove my hair... so I assume this is hot wax?

what is the difference?


nobody called me to reconfirm my appointment! Maybe I should call back next time to ensure if I don't get phone call a day before...
