mouldy smell on laundry

Further to the thread on mould. Since most HK washing machines lack a dryer, I hang my clothes dry. But since the humidity has been high lately some of my clothes take longer to dry and would develop a mouldy smell. Is there any special liquid solution I add to the detergent during laundry to help prevent mouldy smell from developing during hang dry?

Buy a small clothes dryer from Fortress? Before they had a small size about 1700.00 dollars. Saved my life! The vent is on the front it can heat your room in the winter 2.

Dettol do a wash additive to get rid of the smell called Laundry Sanitizer - it's worked for my damp towels. I got it in Wellcome.

I have an LG machine with a dryer since 7 years. i use dryer only when it rains constantly. i use fabric softener and hang my clothes to dry in my b.room window or balcony. been living in HK close to 17 years. hv never had mould smell so far.

go check in fortress or other big white goods dealers, there are atleast 8 models of washing machines with dryers. no need to buy a separate dryer.
