Hallo everybody,

my name is Wolfgang, i´m from germany. My family (wife and son) and me want to move to hk for around one year. while this time we can not go back to germany for a visit. My wife and son use both concerta retard 40 mg (long time effect).

My question to you is:

Where can we buy this medicine in hong kong and how much does it cost.

Both family members have diagnosis adhd from grman doctor and they have reception. We just are allowed to take a three month stock with us, when we move to hk. Maybe you can give me some information. My office is in Central and we will live in sheung shui. Thanks a lot. Yours Wolfgang

Concerta should be widely available for purchase. If you have any trouble, Dr. Ernest Luk (not sure of his contact details) should be able to help you.

Dr. Trodd @ Owen, Trodd & Partners (OT&P) has experience with adhd and medication. He has offices in Wanchai and Central. Cost is about HK$1000/ month for Concerta. It is a controlled drug, and so not as easy to find as many medications in HK.

The public hospital also can prescribe adhd medicine and the cost would basically be free. However, the public sector usually prescribes Ritalin and there is a long queu process for new cases.
