Any opinions on Sir Ellis Kadoorie Primary School???

I was a student there myself and know I'm still debating should I enrol my son in the same school. At that time, the school was good. It's a Government aided primary school in Causeway Bay and there is no school fee.

Does anybody have any comments on this school? In 1990's, this school was called "Indian School" because majority of the students were Indians but now 70% of the students are Filipinos.

Should I still enrol him there?

Thanks in advance for your valuable advice.

Is there a way you can ask them or look at gov't records to see what secondary schools their graduates get into?

This should be a good judge of the quality of the school.

Sorry, I don't know how to access those sorts of records - but there must be a way?

They've got there own secondary school in Olympic Station, so mostly the kids graduate to that school.

I'm not sure how to access those records, too. Does anybody else know how to do?

Then I guess the next question is - how many make it to 6th form? Waht type of A level results? and which universities?

Education Dept website - http://www.emb.gov.hk/

You can get school eductaion statistics from them, but you might need to pay or go to their office - just search the site for while and there is a link 'access to information' on the left that leads you to another link which says what type of info you can access.

They also have school profiles, including profiles on non-chinese language schools.

good luck!
