Hello All,
Currently using Watson's water for weekly order of 18L water bottles. Prices are $81 each. Is there a less expensive alternative out there?

COOL and Watsons are exactly the same water, only different bottles. A friend of mine who is in a position to know this told me that, so save money and buy COOL.

Accidentally deleted Foths reply re: drink tap water...
One thing to consider though when drinking tap water is that water at the source is treated and tested and fine to drink - however you dont know where its been before it gets to your home... have a look at the sludge in the harbour - and remember that all the manufacturing thats been done in HK and China leaches some nasty stuff into the ground... plus the pipes in many buildings (and underground) are old and probably have leaky seals that allow grunge in...
Do you really want to risk your health and drink this stuff? Remember, most people boil HK tap water so that alone is alarming... boiling will get rid of bugs but it doesnt get rid of chemicals...

water in HK is perfectly safe butthe fact is that is that it tastes very earthy so not everyone likes it. FYI Watsons are doing a deal where you buy 45 18l coupons for c.$3500 and they give you an 'office type' dispenser. I was thinking of doing this. I saw it in Fortress. anyone done this

Oh - I have heard that distilled is not ideal and that mineral water is much healthier. Would be interested to see some research...

DaHKGKid-Do Cool deliver water every week on a specific day?? Did you buy a book of coupons? Also do the 18 litre bottles fit in the watsons stand. The dispenser I have is at room temperature (no hot and cold tap) Sorry for all the questions.

I went with Watson's Water 100pc coupon deal. No physical book, just ongoing system balance. Fits both of my full size dispensers. I'm in Tai Po so every Monday delivery and you set the number of bottles you want. If for some reason you need anther, go to website and order more or less. Suspend delivery etc. You can order 12/25/40/100 bottles inn 18L or 15/30/50 of 11.3L Junior bottles that also fit your dispenser. Call 2660-6688.
As for FOTH's comments, if you want to buy $400 of water from Wellcome and have the room for 8 x 18L bottles available, go for it and save $10 per. I'm sure you have room in your massive HK Flat.
