Is there any reason not to transfer HSBC points to Asia Miles. I want to buy some flights and apart from gifts (which am not interested in) HSBC dont seem to have anything worthwhile. Pls tell me anything you know about this procedure.

Just found out that if you have a Cathay Credit Card, you earn mileage points that can be redeemed against flights. Sounds like a better deal then than having a HSBC or other bank c/c.

On another note, you can still use your credit card for paying your tax but HSBC no longer gives Asia Miles reward points. I checked with HSBC back in December and they said it cost them too much so they withdrew it.
