anyone know what happened to icered.com? it re-directs to ba8ua now... and that site sux.

Icered.com is no more and gone. It has been a wonderful 5 years. We experienced a lot together during those years. We will always remember our faithful members who posted there and who brought people joy. I am sorry I did not say good bye at the very end. I wish you all good luck in your future. IceRed

Not so - I read in the tech post today that it has been taken over by bao8boa.com or something like that, a start up modelled after friendster... perhaps the IR management have taken the cash and are building their own yacht?????

it seems that it simply re-directs the icered.com domain to ba8ua.com when you type in icered.com. ba8ua existed for some time before icered closed down. so it would seem that the folks at IR sold off the domain to the ba8ua people.


'allok' - can you tell us the story behind why it closed? did the lawyers get you in the end? not profitable? or you just got tired of it?


allok- i would the IR people be willing to provide the code to someone else -perhaps at a price- to start it up under a new name?


not many of the IR related posts in the limited forum space of ba8ua are flattering of the new situation. so it would seem that demand still exists for the IR style service to be resurrected.


any ideas?
