I am looking for a Japanese restaurant, preferably in TST, but open to it being on the island. Anyone been to the one in the Intercontinental? Thanks, in advance.

FOTH, Honestly, I don't eat japanese food that often, but my parents are in town and have shown interest in going out for some. So, that being said, I guess, I want something with good food, reasonable pricing. I have heard that Ginza is good. Know anything about it? Thanks.

Sushi Hiro in Causeway Bay (10/F Henry House) has set dinners for about $300-400 and is one of the best Japanese restaurants in HK.

An ex boyfriend once took me to Nadaman at Island Shangri-la for dinner and everything turned out to be awesome. This is coming from someone who's not even that big on Japanese cuisine, so go figure! You'd also enjoy the view if you manage to get a table by the window.

I highly recommend Sensyuraku at The Goldmark ( next to Mitsukoshi ), Causeway Bay. I've tried dozens of Japanese Restaurants in HK as I am Japanese and miss so much Japanese Food. Reasonable price & decent food. If you spend HKD200/person, you would be really full.My husband ( European ) loves this place, too.

There is the TODAI in the Mirimar Center and they have a lunch buffet for $138 of Japanese food. Good stuff.

Has Kokage closed down? It disappeared from the Group's website.

I believe Kokage is being re-worked into 1/5 Grill.
