Really good pedicure?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent pedicure? My feet are, quite frankly shocking. Two years in HK wandering around a carpetless apartment without shoes have taken their toll, and my feet look like they belong to a troll. I have tried a couple of places, but all they seem to want to do is rub your feet and file your toenails, and I need rather more than that - sort of a cross between a pedicure and a chiropodist session. I know there are places in London you can get this, but don't know anywhere in HK - can anyone help?

Thanks to both of you - think I will try the Oriental - worth $600 if it will sort these horrors out!

HK Footcare Centre

Room 703 Loke Yew Building

50-52 Queen’s Road

Central

This place is a chiropodist, and they do feet and hands - it is really incredible... they are so focused on the detail of 'fixing' your feet, you are actually in a 'medical' environment.

But they don't (or didn't last time I was there) paint your nails.

I go here for 'emergencies' - ie, after a ski trip or a winter without a regular pedicure.

For the best Shanghai Pedicure - agree Mandarin Oriental is the best.

For cheaper - Happy Foot in Central also does Shanghai Pedicures.

For general pedicures where they do cut of skin and 'sand' your feet, most nail salons do this - just maybe not as comprehensive as the HK Footcare Centre or Mandarin Oriental.

I recommend getting one really good pedicure, then follow up with a 'regular' one every 2-4 weeks.
