Where can I buy some 'stuffing' so to make pillows/blankets?
I know where to buy already made pillows or blankets to stuff in a cover, but I'm looking to buy the actual stuffing to make the items from scratch.
Thanks.

There is a shop in Horizon plaza that sells the inners of cushions - 3 sizes. name is Kahooche or something like that - not sure of the floor - not very helpful am I ?
For your doona's or blankets - you need to visit the Hawkers Bazaar in Sham Shui Po, On Lai Chi Kok Rd opposite the police station (Kowloon side) there are stalls there that sell batting.

No the stuffing is called Dacron - sorry - good thing I'm not an ESF teacher!?! Shop is called...dunno but it is the only one with big rolls of white stuff outside. You can't miss it. It is on the left as you go up Li Yuen from Des Veoux towards Queens Rd. Hope that helps.

: ) It does, thanks. I think the shop is called Cotton. I've been there and just yesterday saw the rolls. I bet there is a less expensive place, but the shop does have nice stuff. Thank you again.

Shop is called Cotton Tree Interiors possibly?? It is a bit expensive (comparable to other stores on Queens rd though) but has lots of lovely fabrics from Designers Guild etc... by all accounts they do very good work though for curtains etc.

No NOT Cotton - they are too expensive..It is called Hing Something or other. He keeps every colour of satin and lining. The stuff is $10 a yard. You won't get cheaper than that - can trawl Sham Shui Po but not really worth the effort for 10 bucks.

For anyone that does any sewing or creative things - if you haven't visited the hawkers Bazaar in Sham Shu Po you need to. It seems to be disorganised and out of control as usual in HK the store holders have got it well under control. You can find anything there and at any prices better than anywhere in HK, but you do need to spend a bit of time to really appreciate how it is organised and what is there. It is a definite shopping experience in HK that should not be missed. Close to MTR (dragon centre exit) Some will love it and others will hate it.
