How to scrap a motorbike?

How does one diepose of a motorbike or car? Is there such a thing as a scrapyard in HK?

We have had a few cars scrapped in HK - all we do is call our local garage and they will arrange a truck to come and pick it up for $300 and give you a certificate of 'disposal'. If it towed it costs alot more. If the car or bike still runs you can take it out to the scrap yards at Shek Kong NT and they will give you the certificate and take it off your hands. - may even give you somne money for it (we have never had the pleasure of disposing a car that still ran - I mean if it still goes why srcap it???)


You to have the original registration certificate when you take it to the scrap yard and then follow the information on the website that is here...

it reminds me of a mates scooter that he left parked in central for so long people just ended up stripping the thing down until one day i saw a guy put the chasis on a trolley and take it away.
