We've just recently arrived in HK from Australia. Are there hard copy Yellow Pages published here (in English) ??
If so, how/where do I get myself a copy please?

Have lived here for a long time - had some phone books but hardly used them as they were difficult (??) to use (people move often here and businesses close down frequently, and listings may not be in it from one year to the next) - there is a number 1081 that you can call anytime for phone numbers, or the Community advise bureau (CAB)
Phone: 2815 5444
Fax: 2815 5977
Email: cab@cab.org.hk
Website: http://www.cab.org.hk
Information: The friendly voice at the end of the phone, ready to help with any questions about living in Hong Kong. Operated exclusively by volunteers, the CAB is an English-speaking, non-profit information and referral service. 9:30 - 4:30
There is also the PCCW white/yellow pages online which is also helpful www2.hkt.com/hkt/dqi/
Collecting business cards of your favourite places is also a good practise and keeping them in a little folder made specially for the job!

You can pick up the yellow pages, no questions asked, at the Hennessy Rd PCCW building just inside the front door. For residential, one must go upstairs and give name and phone number.
