Go to your hairdressers and ask them to give you the Japanese Treatment. It quite expensive, but worth every cent!

to moisturize hair try L'Occitane's Huile Soin Cheveux (Hair Care Oil). rub a few drops between your palms and fingers, and comb your hands through your hair, esp. the ends - you can leave it in for a few minutes before your usual shampoo/conditioner routine, or just leave it in throughout the day. made with olive oil, but with a pleasant light scent. works for me

crazy, but it works like magic....take a couple tablespoons of Mustard Oil, warm for 5-10 secs in microwave (should not be hot), massage in to hair. Then take an old towel, wet it with the hottest water you can take, wring, then wrap your hair in the hot towel.Let it stay till its cool, then repeat ( I also put a damp towel in the m/wave to heat). After a couple of times, you can wash your hair with shampoo, but it will take about 3 shampoos(at one time) for hair to rinse clear. Use conditioner, rinse. Result: very shiny hair!!! Try it and let me know how you go!!!

Facing the high humidity in Hong Kong, I too, have oily scalp but dry ends. Unfortunately, for split ends, there is basically nothing you can do but snap it.

For hair treatments at home, I make sure that the hot oil or hair mask doesn't get onto my scalp but ends only. And the olive L'occitane hair oil works wonder on my hair throughout the year (I always apply it right after I towel dry my hair, so as to "seal" the moisture in.

Meanwhile, I would go to some cheap hair salons in Wanchai for professional hair treatments at the change of season (so, something like 4 times a year, $200 each time).

Last but not least, don't underestimate the damage that the air-conditioning and the radiators can cause to your hair.

It's better for you to get advice from the professional hair-stylists, not all kinds of treatment product work for your hair.

I agree with DALC .... a professional opinion is the BEST ... I recently tried for a hair treatment Hajira (found her on this site) and she gave me loads of advice to do at home ... so far it is working. I can see a difference and so can my work mates.
