I'm moving from London to HK in January. Have household items (not furniture - just personal effects) to ship. Question One - Air Freight or Boat shipping? How long does each take? Question Two - anyone every shipped a big-assed motorbike? My boyfriend is checking about export and import stuff with authorities. But do regular shippers move stuff like Motorbikes?
Would like to use a tried and tested supplier for all of this - anyone got any recommendations?

Hi, I've actually been looking into shipping my bike from UK to HK and spoke to a company that will fly for around 125 pounds. If you fly, you do need to crate bike (more expense unless you do it yourself) drain tank etc. They're called Jardine Logistics and their UK number is 020 8751 7050. They also have a sea frieght division that they will put you through to if you ask. Someone I know has used them to fly her bike and had no problems.
