I'd like to buy a motor boat/yacht from HK. Where can I find ads for boats which are available ?

Yacht clubs are good places.

There are also some brokers. Depends on the size/cost of boat you are looking for. "Boats and Boating" is one. email me for more

Fun thing to do is to to Aberdeen and charter a sampan to take you around for 15-30 min. Youll see some for sale signs on the boats themself altough these are normally live aboards..

Now, im not saying you operate it without, but have never been aboard when police has checked any smaller crafts. (6-10m). Obviously you should pass the exam, but dont let that stop you from researching or buying :)
