I visited about 5 framers in Central and 6 in Wan Chai and asked for a quote for the same job. The prices varied hugely. The more expensive were twice the price of the lowest! They all seemed very capable of framing art works.
The best price in Central was: Por Kee Glass & Frames, 63-69 Wellington St. 1/F, Flat B Fu Lai Building.
The best price in Wan Chai was: 168 Gallery, 168 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai. email: 168gallery a t gmail.com Their service and friendliness was excellent. The family are painters as well as framers. We really enjoyed Kan's original work. They also paint reproductions and have a mass of previous works they can show you.
