If you go to Stanley there are a number of stores that have much larger sizes for men than the regular stores. You may also want to visit Timberland and Hilfiger (that is if you are not that concerned about the cost of being clothed). Mongkok markets also have a few stores at the back which have larger sizes - left overs from export runs.

I saw some large sized (size 7-9) Lacoste shirts over at La Turkey along Granville road in TST. Likewise, scout through the sample outlets along Johnston road in Wanchai

Hey Peter....I am a 5 feet 11 inches tall, 200 pound muscular xpat who is looking to clear some space in my closet. Are you interested in buying second clothing from me?

How big is big? My husband is a 36" waist and he fits into the clothes at places like Bossini, Giordano's etc. Stanley does European sizes for both men and women.

Re timklip's contribution above - The Kwun Tong outlets are great with lots of extra large gear. I think however the street is wrong. Try Hoi Yuen Road to No 73-75.

Nautica wasn't mentioned before - I've seen a few branches around (in the malls). Casual and big enough for me when I was over 210lbs (6'1''). I struggle in HK for casual gear (I get work stuff made). Not interested in high fashion labels (and too big for most). Not an M&S fan (other than underwear, obviously - I'm a Brit). I tend to buy stuff when visiting Singapore/Bangkok.

S&M malls in Manila carry "American" sizes. If you see something you like they nearly always have XL or XXL in the storeroom. They just dont display them.

I know its not HK but Manila is pretty close (4 hours?) and very cheap. We live in Australia and visit every two years or so and do loads of shopping there.
