Hi,

I am moving to HKG in summer and as I enoy sailing very much I would like to know what are the possibilities. Can you hire a sailing boat there? What are the rules/costs? anybody is a skipper? favourite destinations? thanx

thank you for the useful info. well, I can somehow understand the byrocracy as I come from the formal communistic country too :-) but I thought that HKG is different...:-) and what about hiring cabin/hull vessels? is that possible at all? are there any expats having a s/y? are U member of the yacht club?

Filip. did you start sailing in hk now? i just relocated from Europe and would like to sail as well ( i have the permits...)... what is easiest in terms of rental/charter/clubs etc?
