Hello

Can anybody advise where to go to buy a security safe to lock up valuables?

My husband looked around WanChai but couldn't find anything there...

Wing On dept store Sheung Wan, next to the kitchen appliances on the ground floor. Obviously useless against professional criminals, but enough to deter cleaners etc.

1. a few shops on Henessey Road in Wanchai.

2. Jusco Dept. Store next to Taikoo MTR.

All of the Juscos have a large selection.

All along Connaught Road from the escalater to the Western Building there are office furniture places and some have safes.

The weakness for (virtually) all home and hotel safes is that they need an override mechanism to allow them still to be opened when you lose the key/forget the combo. Professionals know these features and have the special keys/electronic gizmos to open the safe in seconds.
