I don't know about pastries..but there is a "chopsticks cooking school" I heard about in hong kong...you can check it out by going onto google.com. I'm sure there are more options in hong kong than here in Shanghai :) There's cordon bleu schools in tokyo and seoul..as well as of course paris and london...there are 3 month intensive programs in paris and london. I think london starts soon...in july. Of course, you could always self study too if you don't want to pay money :) hope this helped..

There are pastry classes held by the Peninsula Hotel. Call them and ask for details.

To ans TC ? Pastries and Pastry are the same word... but Pastries is plural and pastry is a noun.

noun: pas·try pl. pas·tries

Dough or paste consisting primarily of flour, water, and shortening that is baked and often used as a crust for foods such as pies and tarts.

Baked sweet foods made with pastry: Viennese pastry.

One of these baked foods.
