why - just cause of transport? ferries are regular enough no? how about open green areas - is there enough to go for good walks - with dogs?

According to the website there is a private limo service, well 2 limos so there may be some waiting. Handy to know if there is a sick animal which needs to get to the vet.

Went to visit a friend there a while ago. Wasn't overly impressed. It is just as crowded as any other residential estates in Hong Kong. Their flat is very near the pier, and looks over what was the open green area. Luckily they live on a high floor, so are not really blocked by the houses, but the construction makes the place dusty.
I wouldn't want to live there. I crave convenience. Imagine if you have gone shopping and are carring bags and bags of groceries and supplies, and there are no buses or taxis to your door. Also furniture delivery is a problem.
Having said that, the club house is very nice. We went swimming at their pool, and the view was great. The other club house facilities seem good too.

hk is about convenience. not being able to just grab a taxi and get home is not my idea of heaven.

Alright fellas,
i see that all the ads dating from 2 or 3 years ago.
I never thought i d live here but i am loving it. my wife and i moved here few motnhs ago and its just fantastic, there is green, very child friendly, very dog friendly there is a clinique, a vet, a park n shop a 7/11 almost everything u need.
The ferry run every 15 / 20 minute, its the same as DB but with less foreigner and a lot less overcrowded.
i lived in the city for 4 years and here iam like in haven. its true we dont have car, no cab, but we like it this way, we do have the stars at night thought. I would really suggest it to anyone with family. Single people better stay in the island as there is more fun.
