I use the Avent bottles and I don't know why but they're leaking quite a lot...

I've tried to close more tightly the ring but then my newborn is struggling to get the milk...

What is wrong ?

I've tried a Nuk bottle but my baby doesn't like the teat (too big ?).

Any advice ???? Thanks !

Do you think they might be faulty? I don't know but I have used Avent for the past 5 years and have never had problems with leaking.

One of my girlfriends swears by Dr Browns bottles, perhaps another option if you solve your problem.

I've had both Avent and Dr Browns, and both of them leaked (from below the ring) at some point.

I just reopened and closed it again until it didn't leak anymore. Usually I didn't have to do it more thyan 2 times.

Don't close it too tight 'cause the pressure caused by it will make your baby have to suck harder. Maybe that's why your baby is struggling to get the milk out of the bottle?

i use avent and sometimes it leaks...what i do is i wipe it dry before i re-screw it because sometimes i think when it leaks again for the second time, it's just residue milk from the 1st leak...

try that....

loosen the ring slightly only....it's definitely too loose if it leaks.

as for teat, you may wish to try the 1m+ hole....my baby went to that very quickly as he had such a hard time sucking on the 0m+ teats.
