We have a two-year old niece visiting. Any suggestions where to take her, including ideas for the best beach?
Thanks

Ocean Park is a great idea for a 2 year old but on a Sunday it gets pretty crowded. But it is good entertainment for the little one.
Beach: Shek O Beach. It's a great place for families. You can rent umbrellas and chairs and relax. They have a little playground on one end. It's one of my favorite beaches in HK. My kids enjoy it there.

Went along to go to the Harbin Ice Show and the wait was 2 hours!!!!!!Not waiting for that long with a 6 and 4 year old.
1. You could go to HK Park.
2 Go for brunch at Cafe Deco and let her create a masterpiece with the canvases there.
3. Take her across the Star Ferry.
4. Take a trip to Gold Coast and play on the beach there, then go to the hotel where there are bouncy castles, then finish off with a nice meal at one of the restaurants there.
Enjoy!

Ocean park, although at the moment it seems so crowded you can barely walk, with up to 2 hour queues for the cable car, but if you stay the Lowland side, where all the young kids things are its not too bad. Disney land is great for a 2 year old, but again very busy, queueing never seems quite so bad in Disney somehow. For beaches Big Wave Bay or shek O beach (if Shek O, eat at the Chinese and Thai beach restaurant), or Kowloon side Clearwater Bay 2nd beach, or Trio beach, or Half moon bay, The lower floor of the science museum has lots of hand on stuff including making big bubbles. But be prepared, everywhere is pretty busy on a sunday.

For our son's party, we rented a Jumping Castle at www.jumpingcastles.hk. Offer a low price, free transport and great service. Can highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to hire a Bouncy Castle of about 3x3m.
