You mean MTM spa? They are over-priced!! and I can gurantee they use poor quality's gel. This girl uses US expensive gel. Some charge you only HK200 but they use china gel.

Definitely. Gel supposed to do your nails good. so never use China gel/Arcylic as I believe it will only do you harm!!

I go to Jade Nails and have acrylic with gel overlay done in French Manicure.
The great thing is it looks totally natural and i can paint over the French, take the coloured nail varnish off and the French Man looks just as fab and glossy as before. Love it, love it.

Chillifontain - yesterday i've spoken to some ppl they said that gel nails actually are very bad for your nails. They said it would make your nails grow really thin and weak.
But you said it's good for the nails..can u pls explain what's right?? Im confused.

If you go to a good manicurist, she will not make you nail too thin. Also, if she uses good gel, those gel supposed to be natural from plants and it's good for your nails and also gel will make your nails to have good shape if you do it regularly.
Imagine if you put nail polish on your real nail, that's more harmful to you than putting gel on your nails.
I have been doing gel nails nearly 7 years now. I am very happy with it. Never go to the one who uses china gel as they are not real gel!

I thought my gels were beautiful - that was until I stoped using them. My nails then were a mess and have taken 6 months to get back to normal. It is a great money making excercise for these salons as they get you hooked....

I am so glad i didn't get it done! Instead i went to a normal 'nail-care' salon and they have done a good shape (ok not too long) on my nails and put clear nail polish on them. I love how they look and are very natural.
chillifontain - i see you are selling this Coco person alot are you any how related to this person? I do use a personal trainer and i do suggest people who want to keep fit to use him..but i never sell him like the way u do it.

I've always loved the look of gel nails because of the variety of designs you can do on them. But at the end of the day, my nails are a good shape and healthy, so I didn't want to ruin them by getting gel nails because they do tend to make your nails thin.
