A few friends recommended that we should consider HKA as well. We can't find much information from its website. How much is the fees? What about debentures? We will only consider the school if it is within our budget.

went to visit HKA and really liked the programme and the headmaster but was really put off by the buildings. Do the children really "not notice"?? Please can you pm meyour experiences of the school - warts and all, be really useful in making my choice

Not only the building, but they have no high school option. This may be a deciding factor should you wish to stay in HK long term as high school places are very hard to get.

My son is in the early childhood section and he loves it. The teachers are great and the curriculum is fantastic. And although he has never been a keen walker, he has never complained about walking up all those stairs. It's true, they don't seem to notice it! Anyway, the school will be relocating to new premises.

Where will the school relocate to? convenience in commuting was a deciding factor for me and I'd seriously consider the school again if the new premise were somewhere close by.

HKA's lease on the existing Stubbs Rd premises ends in August 2008 and it looks like the government is unlikely to renew (of course they want to sell it to developers...) The school is likely to be awarded one of several existing school sites on the south side of HK island.

Locating to the south side of the island? this is not confirmed and is indeed doubtful. The location could be any where and will not be know until Govt. confirm.
