I have decided to buy Canon EOS 400D. The best price I got is HK$ 6280 (with kit lens). But I am in no particular hurry.
So is it worthwhile to wait till Christmas to get some special price / discounts ?

Canon is expected to come up with a discount offer in the US - I dont know if the same will reflect in prices here.
any reduction in prices by December is partly the obsolence cost - as it is a few months closer to the next camera model. Given Canon launches DSLR model upgrades every 18 months, Dec will be atleast 1/6 of the way there to the next upgrade.
