netvigator Broadband - For Apple computer?

Set-up disk? You got a set-up disk? They didn't give me one ( *pout* ). I just plugged in the cable, phoned the helpline and the guy told me what to change in the TCP/IP (I think) to connect. He also gave me an Apple HK phone number in case of other problems but I haven't had to use it.

Hey FOAH


No need for a setup disk:


Plug cable into ethernet port

Open System Prefs (in dock or through Spotlight

Click on "Network"

Choose "Built in Ethernet" (or it might just be "ethernet"

Fill in the "username" bit (use full email address that netvigator gives you)

There should also be a password button next to "username - click on that and fill in password

Click the button that says "connect now" and it should connect.


Post again if you have any problems, and I will redo this post while sitting in front of my Apple so I can give more detail.
