Can try The Hairdressers. They have a guy there called Darren whi does the piercing and from recollection they used to have quite an array of piecing bits, belly bars incl.

actually most of the body jewlery in HK is from the UK, US, Japan or Korea. You can sometimes find items from Indonesia also but thats more the deorative kind.

Most market stalls selling body jewelery are not ordered from the U.K. Also a lot of piercing shops in malls don't use good quality jewelery either. This is why their prices are next to nothing. We have had many ppl come to us complaining about reactions and such. Our piercer spends most of his time fixing others mistakes sadly enough.

I know what your saying i see a fair amount of bad piercings myself but in fact alot of the jewlery sold in the markets does either come from the UK, Japan or Korea. If you buy large enough amounts our of the UK its very cheap per piece. The issue with problem piercings is not so much the jewlery but the person or place doing the piercing. Many of these shopping mall or market place piercings and even some studios and not hygenic and do not recamend the correct jewlery to be used for fresh piercings.

actually there are some fantastic jewellery stores down in the Central lanes - near the Central post office on Des Voux Rd- you can get all sorts of good quality body piercing jewellery and REALLY cheap- in fact i know most piercing studios in hk buy from there and do a 100% mark up...so don't worry about it being too cheap- i wear some of this jewellery and it is good- avoid buying the black, coloured, gold colourd pieces as they are just painted on. stick with the sergical steel pieces. really it is so cheap, if your body doesn't like it then you can just chuck in the bin directly.

oh, but if you want the best, non-allergenic jewellery, get titanium from julia and ross. tst is not so far to go, only 15 mins on the mtr. the next best is either 18k gold or plastic
