True, once you stop taking it the skin will starve and gets depressed. Best to do it the natural way... lots of water, fruit, veg and exercise.

My friend which is late 40, she took the imedeen for about 2 weeks, the result immediately shown. smooth and pink rosy cheek and radiant skin complexion. when she stop, the skin will return to the old problem. It won't hv double problem, is just back to normal.
Imedeen just like vitamine, if u stop taking it the skin will just be back to normal self.

It defines as a supplement which has high conten of Protein and Vit C. I wonder how much is it in HKG? It cost rought 70 pounds for 3 months consumption in London. My sis been taking it for years, since late twenties and her complexion is fab still(she is in her 40s now)!!

I wonder if all the skin supplements in the market actually works or it's mainly a placebo effect. I've tried taking a few but see not much of an improvement or any more radiance. But I"m still a sucker- bought meiji amino collagen because of all the rave reviews and 'scientific' marketing fliers that were going around.

They cost around HKD500 (one-month consumption, I think). You can get them at Mannings or Watsons.

I've been taking it for the past 2 years and am only 26yrs old, doesnt matter what age you take it. Their are two different kinds - origional and time perfection here in HK, but in Aust etc there are others (the time perfection is aimed at 40+). Its made from marine products etc and is natural and safe to take.

alices- I had PM you, kindly check.

Alices, have you seen any improvement? If so what type? Would you recommend it?
Please support our advertisers:
Yes, I figured its natural so cant go wrong, I really think its made a difference. I'm only using the origional/classic type, the other one here isnt really aimed for my age bracket. I have quite sensitive skin so cant use creams etc on my face and wanted to use something and imedeen has been super!

I had taken Imedeen (classic) for 1 year and the improvement is great! After 2 mths of consumption, I have a "glow on my cheeks" which is wonderful.
I noticed that during Xmas,Imedeen can be purchased at a special price. eg. 3 boxes packed together(60 tabs/box) sold at promotional price. Then, I will stock my Imedeen supply.
I was recommended by a friend to consume around 10-11pm which is long after dinner, to allow it to work better.

Ive been taking it for about 2 months, dont see anything visible, buttttt.. my skin has been extremely dry and sensitive. Weather its Imedeens way of cleaning out my skin, not sure.. I'll see what happens after 6 months...

I've also been taking it for around 2 months and my skin is also drier than normal, especially under my eyes and I've had quite a few pimples, which I very seldom get. I bought 3 month supply so I'll finish the course and see if there is any improvement, maybe it is a way of cleansing the skin..not sure!!

dss> you mentioned there is some sort of Christmas promotion going on but posted it like 3 days ago (after xmas), just wondered is it going on still? and where about should I get them. Just PM me if you can. Thanks a lot!

To my knowlege, there is no clinical proof to support the claims to date. However most cosmetics sell on the notion of hope and perhaps the probability of a placebo effect.

Also taking Imedeem. After 3 months I think my face is a little more tight or less loose/squishy....if that makes any sense! Tinny Ho (derm) told me that Imedeen has been proven to have some effect on collegen promotion through independant scientific research. She is a fan.

I've been considering buying something to help my skin. Have noticed that it's not as "Q" as it used to be. I have combination skin (oily T zone and dry cheeks) so not sure if this will work.
Curios, Thomson, just wondering if it got better.

does it boost your appetite after taking?
Please support our advertisers:
No it does not boost your appetite, i've heard the best time to take the supplement is at 10 or 11 pm but i take it mostly in the morning for nearly 6 month and it really change my skin in a better way!

I suggest that instead of taking extra supplement, use fruits and vegetable. It will help.
Please support our advertisers:
offcourse you need to eat a lot off fruits and vegetables and WATER, but together with a supplement, it's an extra boost for your skin.

I think we need supplements also - especially after age 30. My GP has me on Vit B12, B Complex and a special Omega 3 with Flax Seed and primrose and I do feel and look good.
