Western Women's boutiques

Hi - I moved out to HK from the UK about 3 months ago. I work full time and have a young family so don't have much time to go shopping for clothes.

I can't seem to find any shops that are affordable and have a range of clothes for UK size 10-12.

Funny really when there are loads of clothes shops everywhere! but they are mostly too expensive for everyday wear, particularly where I work in IFC2. (with exception of Mango and Zara)

Can anyone give me some recommendations for boutiquey shops with with brands like Joseph, DKNY and Kenzo.

I wonder why brands like Reiss, LK Bennett, Oasis and even Gap don't have a presence out here in Hong Kong - or maybe they do and I just haven't found them.

Any suggestions for shopping would be v gratefully received otherwise as we move into winter I am going to be v cold! I think I'm OK for work clothers but I gave away all my winter tops thinking it would be hot all year round!!

Thanks

DKNY is in Lee Gardens,Causeway Bay but the designers you mention are very expensive here and don't compare pricewise to Zara and Mango.G2000 will have clothes to fit 10/12 Giordano Ladies have more up to the minute fashion ideal for a work wardrobe. As long as you are 5'4'' or under most local boutiques will have clothes in your size. I have found Theme to be quite good, at the moment they are down the street that the back entrance to Shanghai Tang opens onto. Also Colour me eighteen in Times Square and Maroon sometimes have things.Episode and Jessica are more expensive but have a wide range.

Hi PQ,

My name is Ilse Kerling and I am the designer and owner of Cloud9Asia, which is a HK clothing label that specialises in Western sizes. Cloud9Asia has 2 different collections: an Asian line as well as Business/Casual Wear. My store is in Lan Kwai Fong (1/F, 7 Lan Kwai Fong which is next to Dolce Vita & Post 97). Other boutiques that carry Western sizes/brands are Evelyn B as well as Rosarini - both are also in LKF. I hope that helps!

If you have any questions or need the exact addresses of Evelyn B and Rossarini, please contact the store on 2847 3339.

Kind regards,

Ilse

Will H&M bring in the big sizes? Mango and Zara don't really bring in the big sizes or maybe they get sold real fast. I'm a size 14 for bottoms and I find it so hard to get pants.
