Although I live in a new housing area, our maids quater will only allow a bed 76 cm x 175 cm. Any idea how to furnish the room with a bed? Thanks

There is a lot of furniture shops in Sham Shui Po which does customize beds. The price are the same but only having to wait for the construction...

We have the same problem as we've only go a very small room for the maid, it's about 170x120. We ended up buying a bed from Ikea which although fits in the room does pose a problem because the door opens inwards. In the end we had to take the bed apart to get out of the room! lol. Anyway, with the aid of a saw and a few nails I did manage to get it to fit across the room rather than lengthways.
A bit off topic but does anyone's maid insurance cover severe curvature of the spine? She says she was ok before she worked for us.
