Best Iced Tea Recipes?

One of my favs... ;-)


Long Island Iced Tea


Ingredients

1 shot vodka

1 shot gin

1 shot white rum

1 shot tequila

1 shot orange liqueur

1 dash of lemon juice

1 dash of orange juice

1 dash of cola


Method

1. Fill a c*cktail shaker with ice and pour in all the ingredients.

2. Shake once and pour in a tall, well-chilled highball c*cktail glass.

3. Sit back in your chair and watch the sun set over the balcony.




This is lovely too. (Enough for 4)


2 Ceylon tea bags

Juice of 3 limes, plus 1 lime sliced

2-3 tbsp caster sugar

12-18 ice cubes


1. Pour 1 litre boiling water into a heatproof jug with both tea bags and infuse for 3-5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags then leave to cool.

2. Pour the cooled tea into a serving jug containing the lime juice, lime slices and sugar and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Add the ice cubes and serve.
